Absolutely worth all the praise it's getting. It has a good balance between nostalgia and the new story. It's completely engaging and doesn't at all seem like it clocks in at a bit over 2 hours. It gives enough background about the story that you don't need to have seen the first movie to follow along, but it will make those who haven't seen the original want to.

The acting and characters were on point and felt like real people, with real dramas and comedic periods instead of forced quipping which I appreciate. The authenticity of action & sound elevated the immersiveness of the experience to where I would never forget
