MY SPY follows JJ a hardened CIA operative (Dave Bautista) who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, named Sophie (Chloe Coleman) where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family. When Sophie discovers hidden cameras in her apartment she uses her tech savviness to locate where the surveillance operation is set. In exchange for not blowing JJ’s cover Sophie convinces him to spend time with her and teach her to be a spy. Despite his reluctance JJ finds he is no match for Sophie’s disarming charm and wit.

It was better than expected. I initially thought the acting wasn't going to be good, but everyone did an amazing job. The romance seemed a little rushed between the mom and jj. Also you should consider using the radio versions of the explicit music

We loved the premise. It was a really cute movie. The violence was expected. I think the profanity should have been beeped. It would have had the same artistic impact. Clean versions of the songs would have been appreciated. I will recommend the film with the the above comments to my friends with children.

Excellent - Excellent - Excellent Movie!!! Great family movie, and a great outing for young people having a friend date. The cast felt like they had a lot of fun making the movie, and best of all; Girl Power! See this two or three times....What a pleasure!

It was cute and entertaining....definitely pg13 and not ANY younger as I seen much younger kids than that as the language was too strong for anyone younger than a teen. Great movie!!

A very good movie I can recommend to a friend. I just wish when a movie is rated PG13, the producers would eliminate the vulgar words. They are actually telling a 13 year old it is okay to swear. And because of this, I could not recommend this movie to any of my church friends. It would be so great if movies could be made so that everyone would be proud to see them.

This film is a breath of fresh air, giving young girls a hero's voice, with the lightheartedness of a buddy comedy.
