Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

As much as I love Quentin Tarantino's films, almost all have a sequence or a scene that I feel keeps it from being perfect. Jackie Brown may be the exception, but I also think that benefits from the underlying Elmore Leonard story. I look forward to seeing OUATIH again (Thursday!) , but I can't immediately think of such a sequence in this film. The cast and performances are fantastic. I hope that all of the Rick Dalton films and TV show footage created for the film makes it onto home video!

A modern Tarantino classic. Restrained, excellent character work.

An excellent film. I loved the story line. Pitt and DiCaprio were great together. The sound track and time period references were greatThe characters were fun to watch. I loved seeing Bruce Lee training everyone for the fight scenes and his bit with Cliff was just fantastic. It is the best ensemble with regards to dialog and interaction since Pulp Fiction and Cliff is another great Brad Pitt character. I loved the ending

Advance screening tonight of Quentin Tarantino’s new film and I really enjoyed it a lot. It takes place 50 years ago in Los Angeles and the attention to detail is quite impressive. If you’re a fan of his movies, then it’s a must see. If you’re unfamiliar with his work, this might actually be a great one to introduce you to his writing and directing style. I loved the way he shot it, the cinematography and the interweaving of historical events, actual film & television, with the plot of this film
