You can tell people who actually love the franchise were involved in making this film. This is how all movies should be approached for now on. Love the movie and look forward to all the sequels/ spinoffs that the future holds, so long as you have someone that loves the franchise involved.

Detective Pikachu is a wonderful addition to the Pokemon Franchise. I initially had some reservations about Ryan Reynolds being cast as Pikachu (because Deadpool!), but I am very happy with his portrayal of such an iconic character. Definitely a Must See for pokemon fans of all ages!

Detective Pikachu left me breathless from beginning to end! With cutting edge cgi and phenomenal performances from both Reynolds and Smith! Legendary and warner bros have done it again and have brought to life the better part of my childhood. Fans and newcomers will enjoy this hilariously beautiful film! Pokémon: Detective Pikachu FLAT OUT ASTONISHES!!!!!
