Good sci Fi, great music and cinematics. Bit of a rocky story

Expected more action from the movie.

It was pretty awful. Whereas alien and aliens are two of the greatest movies ever made, this one was a mess. It was basically a remake of alien by someone that didn't understand any of the elements that made alien work. Every detail in those first two movies had a reason and a purpose, including the characters. Nothing in this movie seemed to have either, and it brought nothing new to the table.
