M, Night Shyamalan's 'Knock At The Cabin' is his typical creepy bait and switch nightmare horror amped up with message this time - the perils and pitfalls of religion especially its true believers when they barge in on your every day life. Incredible performances all around but David Bautista and Ben Aldridge stand out and Jonathan Groff will break your heart. Tight and spare, it's a KO!!!

The acting was great, but there wasn’t enough plot twist. I felt it should have shown more graphic scenes and there should have been something that came as a shock to the viewers at the end but it wasn’t. Again, the acting was great, but there wasn’t enough shock value. We believed Leonard, Sabrina, Adriane, and even Redmond.

This was a suspenseful thriller in a similar vein to "The Menu." The flashback of key moments in the couple's past were entertaining and added some emotional weight to the present day action. It was also nice to see a gay couple in main roles in the film.
