Excellent treatment of the wounds of displacement. Avoids sentimentality, while honoring the lives of refugees and the often unacknowledged gifts they bring with them.

This his a great film. Yet, it doesn't try to be anything more than than it is; subtle, spare and eventually triumphant. \r\rWith such precision and care the viewer is taken through a full range of emotions but ultimately left with empathy for the courage of the world's refugees. \r\rThank you for allowing something like this to come into being.

It was engrossing...absorbing...moving...beautiful - and powerful in its quiet, subdued way. Like a great poem, the story unfolded in the white space between the words and actions. letting my own mind fill in a tapestry of backstories.\r\rAmazing cinematography. And in the midst of the anguish watching it, you made me laugh.\r\rVery rich and wonderful. I won't forget it. Thank you!

quirky, cultural, poignant, touching, funny, characters ere well portrayed in a very bleak setting, topical current events, i enjoyed it alot. closed captions would have been helpful.
