It was very interesting, I like how the movie producers made it sound like you were experiencing the same sound/hearing loss as the main character.

With how busy our lives are whether we're frugal or excessive it's refreshing to take a moment to stop and recognize what as an individual you can value the most.\r\rRuben believes that he is on the right track to life that he has a great bead on his directions and goals but when he loses his ability to hear he gains the ability to understand who he truly is.\r\rI highly recommend that you see this film.

Not what I expected in a good way though. I liked the development of the main character. Left me wanting to know more but of course left to the audience to reflect. Great movie!

Fantastic performance by Riz Ahmed in the leading character role. Beautiful depiction of the abrupt change in one's life by the sudden loss of one of the senses. I particularly liked the depiction of the struggle between the fear of embracing life as it will be because of an unexpected change, loss of hearing in this case, and the desperate attempt to hang on to what life used to be, despite acknowledging that it will never be the same. The non-hollywood ending was a signature of true art and of a true movie.
