It was very entertaining. It had high action and Gina Rodriguez was a great lead. Cordova was the perfect guy to play someone who could be sympathetic and hated at the same time. The twist at the end was not expected. I left wanting to know what the next step is for Gloria.

The movie was actually very good, but the storyline seemed to not be as well put together as I thought it would be from watching the trailer.

A passive heroine and a contrived plot put a damper on what could have been a crackling action-thriller. A bland American remake of a tough Mexican original. Even Rodriguez's smile can't salvage this disappointing remake, but at least it provides a welcome reminder to check out the movie that inspired it. It's understandable that Hardwicke didn't want to mimic her predecessor's moves. But in chop-chop-chopping the action into standard Hollywood fragments, she has drained the material of it.

The movie was very exciting. Kept you guessing on who to trust and what would happen to each of the two friends. I would highly recommend it. This comment is separate from the movie but it should have been one of the bigger theaters at AMC. Too much reserved for radio station and critics. At least 4 rows were reserved. A lot of people were turned away
