Some moments are really scary but some things were like a little absurds like moving a lot when they were very close of the blind guy and the fact that they try to help the women when they are trying to escape.

There were some good scares. Good movie to watch on home video in the dark!

Only saw this film because of Stephen Lang's starring role in it. In NO WAY is this the "greatest American horror film of all time," but is definitely well above average for the genre. Blessedly, there are a minimum of genre cliche bone-headed character moves. The film is unexpectedly and, probably, unintentionally hilarious in many moments. Lang does not embarrass himself no matter how unbelievably his character is written. Jane Levy displays some Reese Witherspoon screen presence, too.

I enjoyed this movie for what it was. However, while I found it to be suspenseful & surprising, I couldn't really get myself to care about the "good" guys. I didn't like the female lead character at all, and was disappointed in the ending. Also, I wish there had been more dialogue and more "meat" to the story, so to speak. I needed more to make me care for and root for the characters. The only character I thought was semi-okay ended up dead.This movie was "good", but it wasn't "great".
