I thought it was well cast and suspense grew steadily and appropriately throughout the movie. I should have predicted with Sam Raimi but the scene with the attempted insemination felt a little forced. However, I did understand the need to empathize with the main characters. I liked that Detroit almost felt like another character in the movie and there were some poignant moments regarding its current state. Overall, I thought it was a good ride.

I really did not care for "Don't Breathe". The first 30 minutes or so were very good. The movie puts us right into the middle of the action- teens are robbing houses. We even get to know some of Jane Levy's backstory, which is always nice (getting to know a character more). I even think it was creepy for the old man to show up at times. However, the characters repeatedly made dumb decisions which took me completely out of the movie. Also, this movie relies way too much on slow motion.

Lame plot! Worst -- a blind veteran was shown as the villain of the movie! Yet another way to berate our veterans!!
