Very engrossing. The torture scenes are hard to watch.

Excellent filmmaking!

The movie was well produced and enjoyable. It was also thought-provoking, but extremely long!

I enjoyed this movie because it shared a part of history which took place in Japan how they felt about Christianity. This also was not the only time the Japanese prayed upon people outside the culture they just added a little more fuel to how they felt about outsiders. Andrew Garfield did a wonderful job, Portraying the priest along with the other staff who were unknown.
