I enjoyed the action in the movie but I thought the foul language was unnecessary.

The only saving grace of this film was Kevin Spacey. What an absolute waste of a star cast. The lead actor tries too hard to be charming and the lead actress is painful to watch.

Important parts of Baby's back story seem glossed over - one quick mention and then not again. So, if you missed it, too bad. The random, trite one-liners seemed like a pathetic attempt at comedy. It's a drama; why does it need stilted, inauthentic comic relief? The characters seemed flat, and the story was predictable. Doc's sudden change of heart seemed entirely out of character, yet expected (that's what happens in movies). I'm glad I didn't pay to see this movie, as I was underwhelmed.

The film starts with a bang with the 2 first scenes in all thing Edgar Wright. The mix of his complex image choreography with music and sounds to spins us into the mind of Baby with so much fun, but style does not make a story. It flattens out from there on. We hope the risks would pan out and they don't. Why didn't he bail?! And why the f**k does Doc, who earlier threaten to cut up Dolores's face, turns into a martyr? On top of so many missed opportunities.
