"The Edge of Seventeen" is an edgy, comedic drama starring Hailee Steinfeld (of Pitch Perfect 2 fame), as a teenager struggling to find her place in the world. The witty banter keeps the film light and watchable while tackling the serious subjects of bullying, grief, depression and even suicide. Woody Harrelson brings his signature brand of humor, while being an emotional anchor for the protagonist as she navigates the tumultuous seas of her teenage psyche. The film may be marketed as a dark comedy, but expect a fair amount of Lifetime-style tear-jerkers sprinkled in.

A nice coming of age film for this generation.

This was a great movie and Woody Harrelson was the best!! A good look into teenage angst!!

This movie was HILARIOUS! It kept me laughing the entire time. I loved it's unexpected comedic twists. The scenes were predictable at times, either because they were cliche, or the scene was already shown in the trailer. Overall, I loved this movie.
