SLJ gave a good performance.

Most of the good lines were in the trailer, but otherwise a fun show if you were a fan of the original Shaft, and not a millenial :-).

Entertaining, though obvious lazy writing in the very beginning. With that said, going in with low expectations, I was entertained and enjoyed myself. My partner said it was "bad," but I know he laughed at some parts, too. He doesn't want to admit he was entertained.

Shaft Jr. was characterized as to naive in the beginning but as the movie progressed he became more believable. The movie was very enjoyable and Samuel Jackson was great as the father. The end with 3 generations of Shafts was a nice touch at the end.
