I really enjoyed this movie. It was poignant and funny at the same time. The cast was superb but Hailee Steinfeld stole the show.

Edge of Seventeen is a wonderful film. As many have said it has a very John Hughes-esque tone and sense of humor. I've enjoyed Hailee Steinfeld since True Grit, and it was nice to see her cut loose and play the part of the sensitive hellion; and Woody Harrelson is always a treat to see. Overall the writing was strong: even though the movie checks off all the formulaic beats of the teenage dramedy, it does so with style, good acting, and dark humor. Pretty good debut direction from Craig too. Will be buying when it comes out.

I enjoyed this coming of age flick Hailee and Woody were great and very funny. The sound track also rocked but should have included Stevie Nicks. I give Edge of Seventeen a solid B plus

I thought this was a really good movie. I think it will appeal to most people 16-60 that have a sense of humor. I'm not sure the advertising has been great on this movie though. I think I'd only seen the trailer run on MTV? The language might be offensive to some but I have no qualms with bad words. ☺ Loved Woody and Hailee Steinfeld did a great job of making me laugh, cringe and roll my eyes.
