The movie was okay. It was different watching Denzel playing this unusual quirky character. I love movies that confront issues of injustice/inequality and corruption. But, the movie was a bit slow for me with a few good parts (towards the end). I honestly have to watch the movie again because it just didn’t feel complete. The movie ended and I still have unanswered questions.

Denzel really played this role well. He delved into Roman's character with such finesse. This was an oscar worthy performance!

I feel that Denzel Washington is one of our finest actors, & this was not an easy role to do...seeing him overweight & somewhat slovenly is just not Denzel, but he was magnificent. I do not agree with a few reviewers who said that this roil was above him.....nonsense! There maybe could have been deeper story telling around what made him turn in the fugitive and then collect the reward money...that was so out of character; we needed to understand his motivation due to the high price at the end.

Loved the movie, every aspect of it. It was so sad at the end and his whole life was sad. I was really hoping it would end happy, but you knew that it would not.I do recommend the movie, have to commend that the bad language was kept to a minimum. still cringe when I hear it, but it was not throughout the whole entire movie.Thank you, that there is a good movie that I can recommend for people to see.Denzel Washington is the greatest.
