Elsie Fisher did an amazing job portraying her character! I highly recommend if you have a teenager at home you take them to go see this movie!

I really enjoyed it, its an honest take at what its like to be a young person coming to self realization today, and for better or worse it provides a flash back to relive many of the awkward experiences of being a teenager.

Being and filmmaker and person who has worked in film since I was a baby, and now going to school and studying it as the career I want to pursue The Eighth Grade film was done exceptionally well. Comedy being its genre I found that it kept me laughing straight throughout the film. There were areas in the story that blew me away and had me taking out as it the unexpected event in the film occurs
