Amazingly awkward true to life depiction of the eighth grade and all it’s gloriuosness.

I enjoyed it a lot as I recall how it was when I was in Eighth grade, the awkwardness, the wanting to belong, feeling insecure, not being part of the popular crowd. It was frank and realistic enough and did well in expressing teenage angst. However, I would have liked if it offered more in terms of more controversial issues like drugs, bullying, depression, suicide, etc. Still a good movie.
