Okay. The plot was not as I expected.

It was such a sad story with ultimately a happy ending. I liked the boxing storyline much better than the family tragedy aspects.

Good movie; Nice acting;

This movie was a current day update of the first "Rocky" movie. Even so it was entertaining & the plot was strong enough that it kept me interested throughout the entire movie. I did appreciate the life lesson of embracing one's differences (like the fighter being left handed or "a southpaw") that was interwoven in the plot. The theme of persevering through adversity was appreciated as well.
