I would have liked this movie a whole lot more if it was about a half hour shorter. I just felt like it dragged - especially at the end. But it was a good flick with great acting. I would recommend it.

while difficult to watch, very interesting dysfunctional family. Makes one appreciate a solid family structure. Some people JUST shuldnt make babies

Woody Harrelson deserves to be honoured and recognized for his superb acing in this difficult role which he accurately portrayed.Ella Anderson and Chandler Head were also outstanding in their portrayal on the younger versions of the author, Jeanette Walls.A difficult movie to sit through for any of us who had similar experiences.

It was a good movie. Woody Harrelson was great! I'm not sure it was dramatic enough but certainly impressive to have an inside view to the rawness and realness of a life's experience.
