Would not recommend this movie because the family adults were not very responsible and were not an ideal family to mimic. Bad role models.

The acting specifically by Brie Larson and Woody Harrelson was excellent, however the abusive actions of the father towards the family throughout the film-m had me discouraged . I did not find solace in the success of Jeannettes career or husband of wealth. Why must a film focus on a mans dysfunction . The film was exhausting to watch, throughout.
