A stellar cast holds this movie up and makes it is good as it is. Without this cast the film has its issues.

it jumped around quit a bit; didn't seem to follow the book a well as anticipated but the acting exceptional

The acting and costumes were very good but the movie ran a little long and could have benefitted from a tighter focus.
