Artistically pleasing and sweet story, but I felt that the plot lacked real substance. The protagonist seemed more static than I would have liked. Overall, it was enjoyable and I'm happy I was able to attend.

I very much enjoyed it. Very charming movie overall. The first half is especially strong, but the second half just felt too familiar. The ending however, was perfect. Although the girl dying of cancer has been done before, and often, this movie was fresh in that the relationship between the leads was strictly platonic. Also loved Earl`s character. Overall would recommend, just not to everybody.

Amazing camera work, especially refreshing for this genre. I thought the strength in the climax and the 3rd act was able to let me over look some of the flaws and bumps throughout the beginning. A personal and specific note, I wished lead character didn't have to recite what his teacher already said, hitting it home a little too much. Gorgeous performances.

The movie was great. The cast was excellent especially the kids in the movie. There was a good balance of humor and drama. I would recommend this movie to friends and family.
