Doctor Sleep is certainly a twist from the original! Rebecca Ferguson was stunning and really added volume to this movie!The plot was a bit mind twisting but easily followed. Maybe it has just been some time from watching the original and just needed to have some more flashback to catch the viewers up to speed. All in all...the movie was done pretty well for a horror film.

The movie seemed to drag somewhat in the beginning for plot development. The ending was exceptional. Loved seeing the old characters from the original "Shinning" at the end.

Because I am older I know what the movie was from but 2.5 hours and it was not scary or exciting. I brought my 15 year old nephew who left mid movie because he was bored and my neighbor snored for about a hour also. Would give the over a D

This is a really good thriller. The young actress playing Abra Curtis is phenomenal in her movie debut. Loved the homage to Kubrik's the Shining.
