Okay movie. Some parts are ridiculous and defy logic.

Overall I enjoyed this thriller of a movie.\rIt was suspenseful and at times scary to the point where my wife was out of her chair and peeking at the screen from outside the room. That alone made watching it an exciting experience.\rOne drawback was that certain parts seemed a bit implausible & forced. Most disappointing for me was the typical HWood 'wokeness' where cops came off as brutish. 3.5s

I had not heard anything about this movie, never saw any trailers so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. It was decent. Kept me engaged the whole time. I may have even paid to watch it in a theater if there was nothing else good out... and theaters were actually open in my area.

It's difficult to write a review of this film without including spoilers. It's a pretty good film. It's exciting. \r\rMild spoilers: There's a cliché that's plagued many mystery and horror films for many years. This film plays with it without using it (thank god). It's also a homage to an 80s horror film.
