Enjoyed the film a lot. I was actually around when all of this was going on and to get a truer idea of what he was going through was illuminating. I found that although he won and became the hero the U.S. needed and wanted him to be, I was horrified that he was exploited for this purpose and never received the mental help he so obviously needed. Walked out of this film sad.

Nicely done with the acting and scenes. The story is a good encapsulation of the key part of Fischer's life as a chess master. If you are not a chess fan or don't know the history of the time, you might become bored a bit.

Enjoyable biography about Bobby Fisher. I really enjoyed Tobey Maguire's performance, haven't seen much of him lately. This was a good movie!
