I feel like the movie was shot so captivatingly however the plot fell flat. Chris Evans character working with the church seemed more like just a comedic relief but we didn’t actually see if there was something more darker or what’s up with the church. Audrey Plaza’s character her twist would have been more interesting if they gave me more motive and show flashbacks of the killings to make the story more fleshed out. Margaret Qualley did so amazing in the role I just wished the story was better.

Convoluted plot line and unsatisfying ending. More sexual than murder mystery.

This movie had so much potential but in the end was all style and no substance. It felt like three half baked plots mashed together, with none of them reaching a satisfying conclusion. Even as a character study I found it lacking - we’re not really given much to understand each characters’ motivations or personality. The costumes and acting were the best part but even that couldn’t save a mediocre movie.

It seems like the whole purpose of this film was to showcase the lesbian relationships of the main character and, otherwise, lacked substance. The actors did a great job but I found myself either unaware of what the point of the story was and struggling to connect the dots or bored with trying to figure out what was going on.
