It was difficult to follow

Pretty realistic. I like that it wasn't a fantasy love or a feel good movie; it addressed real issues for high schoolers in particular with seniors.

It was slow moving but I did enjoy it.

I felt like the film was headed in the right direction, but didn't totally get there. I definitely commend the filmmakers for tackling the mourning process, and all the messiness that comes with it (hurt, confusion, depression, coping, and even survivors guilt.) It did feel like there was too much of an effort to try and make it lead to some grand pithy universal truism. The film worked the best when it embraced the messiness.
