Enjoyable romantic movie...good for date nite!

Wonderful performances, costumes, scenery. The plot is implausible however, very 19th century novel, and this one if definitely for the ladies.

Enjoyable,Romantic story of patience enduring love

a typical PBS movie. Enjoyed it but it seemed a little long. Felt mr Baldwin should have come out of his situation a little better. We know he wasn't executed, but what happened to him? He just seemed to be gone and forgotten.
