interesting love story about Bathsheba. No real resemblance to her namesake from the bible. She tried to be independent, but love won in the end. The hero got his woman, I enjoyed the film

It was entertaining, although pretty predictable. In my opinion the characters themselves were almost overdone. The scenery and costumes were gorgeous.

I liked this classic love story. Would have liked better character development for the soldier/husband.

It was a good movie. Slow to start but eventually you became attached to the characters and felt their pain and anxiety. Mr. Oaks was a caring and passionate man that you were rooting for the whole time
