A very British film in tone, topic and story line. Excellent production values, especially the art direction - the scenery looked all too painfully realistic. Dry comedy, true to the "stiff upper lip" mentality of the British stereotype. Story had so many realistic, emotional components, some appropriately, delicately overplayed to pull a spot of humor out of the misery of the WWII bombing blitz. Worth seeing.
