I didn't see the original so I can't draw a comparison to it. The movie was okay. It's typical of the films that Roma Downey and Mark Burnett have been involved in recently. The action is good. The acting is fine. This is one of those movies where 3D is probably not worth the investment.

fun, historically correct, and filled with sword fights. who could ask for more? oh yeah, the Jesus cameo was cool! thank you for the screening.
