Good movie. One you can take the whole family to see, in spite of the prejudice displayed against Japanese people. (Kind of understandable since the father was a POW of the Japanese.) I'd recommend it.

Touching movie that shows that life is complex and with faith, love and tolerance anything is possible. That intolerance can lead to terrible behavior and media/propaganda can alter people's views by depicting certain groups as the "enemy". More importantly that all human beings are the same regardless of their color, background. Where there is life and will, there is HOPE. Very nice movie.

Again clicking 'on' RATE NOW but will notopen box to 'rate' - - 4 of 5 stars; not sure why it took 5yrs to produce and film; also timeline and aging of characters didn't seem to follow timeline of movie.
