The movie was good, you felt like you were in the ring during each match. I liked Ciarán Hinds role as the Father. The crash scene made me jump in my seat.

Dragged a little in the middle, but for the most part a good movie.

Great movie! I had a few issues with the way they filmed the boxing scenes, they relied too much on the movement of the cameras rather than the actual punches thrown. They should've also built up the character of the mother and the main character's girlfriend more. Eckhart and Teller also carried the movie, which they did a fantastic job, but there's a need for more dynamic characters as well.

Left feeling they did not capture enough of Vinnie's effort, I am not sure why, maybe the actor. The cast was very good though.
