I expected more but it was okay. I think I was expecting more humor and a more engaging plot line. I think (for all that it is rated pg-13 and does have scary "monsters") it is more geared towards families with pre-teen children than towards adults.

The plot was fine but the underworld creatures were weird. It’s certainly not your cozy Christmas movie. If you are looking for some comedy, some action, and a unique Christmas story line then check it out.

Too long on running time. JK Simmons in the film seldom. It was agonizing for me to endure. Thank You for the screening
