good remake. great effects. understood the story with this version.

Action scenes quite good, but poor editing and unnecessary religious narrative were a great distraction.

CGI doesn't make up for the original's cast of thousands, but the 3-D added a new dimension that CinemaScope couldn't compete with. The pop song for the credit roll was a horrible idea. Morgan Freeman's character had too many cliches for dialog. Otherwise a decent reboot.

It was an unbelievable attempt to do a remake of one of the most perfect films ever produced. Mark Burnett and his wife did a butcher job of the story line to fit their vision - it was too neatly packaged for me gravitating to the Christian palates - I am a devout Christian-Methodist and it was too sugary for me.
