I went in expecting this remake of Ben-Hur to be crap, particularly based on the trailers I'd seen. To my surprise, it was actually pretty good (I even teared up at a few points!). It wasn't without flaws, and certain things like Mr. Freeman's wig took me out of the movie a little, but the strong acting, particularly from Toby Kebbell & Jack Huston, really made this a memorable, moving experience.

Entertaining movie

It was good, but the song at the end stood out. It was a bad choice of music to end the movie.

There were a lot of slow parts but the story was good and the chariot race was well done.
