I thought the movie was very cute & engaging. It was imaginative & entertaining. There were some slow moments, but overall, I enjoyed it!

RED ONE was a little better than expected. It’s an enjoyable diversion, made tolerable by a fun cast led by Johnson and Evans. Johnson is the head elf in charge of security for St. Nick; Evans is a master tracker who is on the Naughty List. They end up teaming up when Evans inadvertantly helps bad guys locate/kidnap Santa, played by the great JK Simmons. It has some moderately clever action set pieces. You’ll forget most of it by the time you exit the theater, but there are worse ways to spend 2 hours this holiday season. I give it a solid if unspectacular 2.5/4 stars.

Its fine but not for everyone. I wouldn't take a small child to this. Maybe my angsty teen who I'm becoming estranged from. But fund time.

It was an okay movie. It reminded me of The Santa Clause 2 movie, but, with Santa being buff and a lot more curse words.
