I really enjoyed it. I liked how they mixed different kinds of Santas from around the world into one story. It was a bit dark, but it was also funny and heartwarming.

Red One is funny and lighthearted. If you have kids between the ages of 10 and 16, I think they will really enjoy the film. I’m interested in the world they have built for this movie. I hope that they can explore more mythological elements if they continue the franchise.

Red One was mildly entertaining. It had a couple of funny moments, and though most of these gags were a little stale, children in the audience found them hilarious. I took my 12-year-old daughter. She enjoyed the movie. This movie felt like an effort to take the PG-13 rating back to what it may've been in the 80s, when I remember seeing more bikinis, or hearing light cursing —but for some reason, it felt a little forced. I was expecting some cursing or maybe a suggestive joke, but was a little surprised to see women in thong bikinis as the focus of some admittedly short scenes.

A fun, Superhero Santa film for those that like a militarized Christmas film. The film is like a big Christmas present that people will enjoy for a little while, then is left in the back of the closet. Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson are good and funny in a traditional buddy cop film kind of way, along with nice gags and action sequences that are part of other buddy action films. Still, the film is enjoyable while watching, but won't be memorable.
