I really liked Risen. I thought it was one of the best interpretation of Christ rising from the dead. I would definitely see it again.

I appreciated the casting of Yeshua as a brown man rather than the white man he is usually depicted as in American media. I think his role was played wonderfully, with such apparent love and compassion. The dynamic of the disciples was very human and delightful, especially when they admitted their initial doubt. All in all, a great departure from the stories of Christ that focus on suffering and Christ as something above human.

great movie!!!

this was an amazing movie. It was good from start to finish, I held my pee to avoid missing something on the screen. The entire theater was quite and intrigued from start to finish... Great actors and wonderful performance by them all. I truly enjoyed it and was not expecting all I got from the trailer description of the movie. It was just fabulous.
