Very sad true story. Tear jerker.

Spectacular effects and realism almost make up for a story that never really answered the question, "why?" A lead character in a true to life story who can throw down $65,000 without blinking and summon helicopters at a moments notice while others are left to die left me questioning whether this was a condemnation of narcissism & selfishness or a celebration of will power. And I'm not sure I care.

The sights and sounds were amazing! But the amount of stress and anxiety I had to go through for not such a happy ending made me frustrated. Now, this isn't like "Titanic" where I know the story; I walked into the theatre not knowing about this tragedy. So needless to say I wasn't impressed with how everything ended.

A very good movie with a great cast . The IMAX experience was what really brought it all together .
