Could have been scarier...i thought they played it true to the original...when the original came out vhs was actually a thing whereas now it seems dated. it should make $$$ though...out

This was an ok movie. It was a little slow to start and the dark running thru the woods made me have to turn away a few times so I wouldn't get sick. It has some suspenseful moments.

Movie was pretty good, but I didn't find it as scary as the original. They answered a few of the questions from the original and also showed that more technology isn't going to save the day because the area is haunted. I'm used to the shaky camera angles, but I felt like I had motion sickness when this one was over.

I thought it was wise to stay with the formula and that the director did a good job of actually covering familiar ground with a few new twists. I believe it is the only movie franchise that takes the camera off the tripod and does in camera effects and not CGI. Which makes it's best scenes closer to silent movies than today's movies.
