I wasn't a fan of the movie mainly due to the ballad part of the production as someone who doesn't like musicals or things of that nature; when expecting an action movie it just was not what I was looking for. Furthermore, the timeline of the movie felt a little rushed and then ended abruptly, it would have been nice to see Snow a little more into the future and on his progression towards being President rather than ending where it did. Overall it was an underwhelming movie compared to the others. Definitely a movie I need to watch again to really have a sound opinion.

The movie dragged in the middle. What were the weapons, the children or voodoo? The relationship between Josh Brolin and his son (which was stated on his CBS morning news interview) and the other parents and their children weren't developed. The children were older than 3rd graders.

I felt like I wanted a little more. Not like when you never want a movie to end but like when it feels like it was missing something.

"WEAPONS" is a film that will likely find its niche as a future cult classic, but it's not a straightforward horror movie in the traditional sense. The R-rating is fitting due to the film's intense and disturbing themes, rather than an abundance of jump scares or gratuitous gore. The movie's strength lies in its psychological terror and unsettling atmosphere, which builds a pervasive sense of dread without relying on conventional frights.
