MERV is a charming movie that plays off the strengths of its main actors, who portray the bickering couple well and inject humor and empathy into the roles. Animal lovers in particular will enjoy this movie, as well as those who enjoy romantic comedies, particularly those that are a little cheesy but tender nonetheless.
