This movie was okay. It did get a little scary at times because it does a good job of playing on your fears.

Mr. Wingard has cobbled together a variety of horror tropes, occasionally hitting on something good (the tunnel sequence was effective), but not delivering anything we haven't seen before.

Pretty good movie. Scary spots. Hard to watch with the camera angles and jumping but I get the premise of that. I rate it a 3.

If you liked the original, you'll like this. If you're hoping for something original, you'll be disappointed. Has a few genuinely creepy moments, and a few good jump scares.The main issue is cognitive dissonance caused by mediocre writing/acting. With the original, you think "this could be real." With this one you think "they're not doing a good job of making me think that this could be real."
