I really did love this movie, it was funny, sad, it mad me mad and happy. You got every emotion from this movie. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because it was about 45 mins too long! They said all they needed to say in the first hour and a half. And I LOVE long movies! It just wasn't necessary.

This was a very interesting movie. I was not sure what to expect. It was slow, but it had a lot of great actors and fantastic acting. It reminded me of my grandparents and how strong black Christian women did what they were called to do to maintain their household.

The movie was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a movie where all they do is talk. Sometimes I would miss what was said because of the accent they were using. So you have to keep an ear open. This movie had its ups and downs and more than a few people were in tears including myself.

This was definitely a Denzil tour-de-force. He is the central character, and takes control from the very beginning. The dialog in this movie is witty, complex and interesting. The characters are well formed and believable. My only criticism is that the film feels like it needs to be shorter and more concise. But it's definitely a must see.
