Denzel Washington & Viola Davis with powerful acting in this serious drama.

Viola Davis will win an Oscar! The movie was good and unexpected some parts. Do not bring your teenager to the movie. Some mature adult matters are discussed in the movie...too much drama for them. Enjoyed the movie!

"Fences" The movie has two heavy hitters in it, Denzel and Viola. Denzel is actually the executive producer. Apparently this movie was produced after a great run as a stage play. I was certain I'd love the movie as described, as well as the players. Unfortunately, it was like watching a play instead of a motion picture. I didn't enjoy it...and therefore can't recommend

Great performance by Denzel Washington, and good story but a bit too long and too much talking which made it a bit boring at times
