Power Rangers was a good movie, but started out a bit slow for me. Since it's the first movie, I understand that it took time for the story to build. Anticipation for the action let me hanging towards the end. I felt the final show down was just like a typical episode of Power Rangers and not as grand as expected for a movie. Had a few cheesy moments which fall in line with Power Rangers.

Areas of character development fell short, only feeling like you know Billy out of the whole cast. Also, the fact that Krispy Kreme blatantly paid for half of this movie was grossly obvious and took time from the movie that should've been spent on character development and an actual climax.Those issues aside, Billy made the whole movie fun and most of the CGI was pretty neat.

I enjoyed Power Rangers. I think it set up a proper foundation for future installments in the series.
