Eh..it's ok. The graphics were better than the original show.

The effects were great. Story and acting was corny. The insinuations, (masturbating the cow, masturbating in the shower, etc etc) was a little disturbing while sitting in a theater with 8 year olds. Needs a mature rating. I gave the movie 2 stars for the graphics, the rest I could of done without.

Felt like a TV movie, had some humorous moments, a lot of exposition, characters are shallow, not the best dialog/acting, cheesy lines, very kid like. In summary, kids and fans of the Power Rangers will love this film. An outsider can have fun, but there are some boring moments. I doubt this is one that will have repeat viewings, but probably will have solid DVD sales.

The opening dialogue was painfully simplistic and obvious, although I either got used to it or it got better throughout the movie. I wasn't horrified until I saw the teenagers sitting around the campfire drinking beer, however. Why would you ever think it's okay to promote underage drinking in a mainstream franchise like Power Rangers?! That crosses the line from benign to malevolent.
